About our Children's Emergency and Trauma Department Appeal

Children's emergency department artist impression

24 hours a day, 365 days a year our incredible paediatric team look after young people and babies in one of the UK’s busiest children’s emergency departments.

As an emergency service, our treatments and outcomes are among the best in the UK, but our current facilities do little to ease the anxiety felt by children and families during an often scary and stressful time.

Together with The Murray Parish Trust we are fundraising to significantly enhance the environment, making it a more child friendly and safe place to be, helping to reduce stress for everyone involved, and allowing our staff to deliver the very best care for those who need it the most.

With your support we can ensure that children from Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Dorset, Devon, Wiltshire, Berkshire, West Sussex, the Channel Islands and Oxfordshire are treated in a department which has been designed with their specific needs in mind. This department is expected to see 30,000 children a year,  so get cooking and help us make this new department a reality.
