The VW Santa Run returns for its fifth year

Over 100 Volkswagen vehicles will be arriving at Southampton Children’s Hospital for their fifth annual New Forest Santa Run this Sunday (26 November).

The event will have both classic and custom VWs participating in the Santa Run; from split-screens, Beetles, buggies, Golfs and caddies to T4s and T5s, and will start from Beaulieu Motor Museum.
They will then be taking toys and craft items to the Piam Brown Unit at Southampton Children’s Hospital. This is the Wessex regional cancer unit catering for children from birth to 16 years old treating all forms of cancer.
Rachel Funnell, charity coordinator comments: “We are thrilled that the New Forest Dub Club are supporting us again this year. This event just keeps growing year after year, and the entrance of all of the VW vehicles is such a spectacular scene.
Every year the unit sees over 100 new families, so for those who need treatment throughout December and over the festive period, this means we can give them a present through Southampton Children’s Hospital Charity, to help brighten their day.”
Further details about gifts and presents for patients of all ages can be found on our website.
