Children’s Hospital 100 Club

Find out how YOU can support UHS’ new Children’s Emergency and Trauma Department!

We are looking to recruit a community of 100 passionate individuals or groups that can each raise £10,000 for University Hospital Southampton’s (UHS) new Children’s Emergency and Trauma Department by Summer 2018.

Calling out to not only the many dedicated staff that make our hospital and, particularly, our Children’s Hospital the centre of excellence that it is, but also the community in which the hospital treats, the #CETD100Club is a drive for individual fundraisers, teams and major donors to be a part of something amazing: to help the charity hit the halfway point of their fundraising target of £2 million to create a specialised, state of the art facility to serve central southern England and the Channel Islands.

To celebrate this exciting initiative, Southampton Hospital Charity invites you to join our CEO Fiona Dalton, key representatives of the hospital and Southampton Hospital Charity for a special event on Wednesday March 8th 5:15pm – 6:30pm in the Heartbeat Education Centre in University Hospital Southampton.

This information evening will be an opportunity to find out more about how you can join the #CETD100Club and play a crucial part in this exciting appeal... all accompanied by tea, coffee and treats, of course!

You will hear first hand from our CEO about what the prospect of a new Children’s Emergency and Trauma Department means for the future of the hospital, as well as a presentation from our Children’s Emergency Department Lead Consultant Jason Barling on the critical need for this new department and an insight from #CETD100Club team leader Sam Dale from UHS’ finance team.

You will also get the chance to take part in a short workshop with members of the Charity team and discover different fundraising techniques and ideas to show you have achievable a task the #CETD100Club truly is.

To find out more about the new Children’s Emergency and Trauma Department appeal you can read the our case for support or contact Major Gifts Officer Amber Badger-Bell on / 023 8120 5489 to find out more about the event and register your interest.
